| 2/9/2013 | Division 3 State Championship Meet - Diman's Tevin Cintron continued his remarkable season at the Division 3 State Championship Meet in Boston. Tevin won his heat of the 1,000 meter run, finishing first in a field of 18 runners. Overall, Tevin finished 8th in the state and made the podium, where he received a well-earned medal. Tevin finished his senior season undefeated in all races and saved his best for last, breaking the school record in the 1000-meter run.
Nate Levesque capped off his superb senior season by competing with the best in the state. Although he did not place, he certainly proved he belonged with the best.
Congratulations to both Tevin and Nate! |  | | 2/2/2013 | Freshman/Sophomore Meet - The Diman indoor track team had some outstanding performances at the Freshman-Sophomore meet on Saturday. Corrine Borges was a medalist, taking home second overall in the 20mile run and ran her season-best time. Matt Tillson was also a medalist, placing 4th in a field of 30 in the 600-meter run. Erin Benoit blew away the field in her heat of the 600-meter en route to a top-10 finish. Holly Concepcion placed fourth in her heat of the 1000 meter run. Also performing well were Lance Arruda, Chelsea Neville, Brian Dinis, Amhad Clements, Justine Hutchins, Shelby Fontaine, Sydney Midura, Ashly Sarozek, Chris Ericson, Chun Lee Tith, Ian Goncalo, and Tyler Botelho.
| | | 1/31/2013 | Old Rochester over Diman - The Diman indoor track team performed well against Old Rochester Regional. Tevin Cintron ended his conference season undefeated as he toughed out first place in the 1000 meters. Tyler Antaya ran an exceptional 300 meter race, breaking the 40 second barrier. Chun Lee Tith flew solo in the hurdles and received a standing ovation. Nate Levesque and Alex "Anchorman" Lastra led the Bengals to victory in the 400 relay. Coach Librera and Coach Bradham would like to take the time to thank seniors Phil Michaud, Tiago Furtado, Alex Medeiros, Nate Levesque, Ted Makuch, Tom Allston, and Tevin Cintron for their hard work and dedication. | | | 1/22/2013 | Diman Friendly Meet - The boys and girls performed well in the friendly exhibition with Diman, Durfee, and New Bedford. There were several outstanding performances: Tevin Cintron won both the 2-mile and 1-mile race. He qualified for the Division 3 State Meet in both events. Nathan Levesque had a season-best shot put thrown of 44 feet, 5 inches. Tyler Antaya placed 2nd in both the 55-meter run and the 300 meters. Leading the way for the Bengal Trackmen with first-place finishes were Tevin Cintron in both the 2- and 1-mile, Tyler Antaya in the 55, Aaron Soars in the high hurdles, Chris Sharp in the 1000, Isaac Moniz in the 300 and Nate "Santa Claus" Levesque in the shot put. | | | 12/8/2012 | Diman 50, Apponequet 28 - The Diman indoor track team had an outstanding day on Saturday, when they defeated Apponequet Regional, 50-28. Tevin Cintrol led the way, winning both the 1,000 meters an the 2-mile. Nathan Levesque won the shot put. Matt Tillson and Corey Toupin placed 1st and 2nd int he 600 meters. The boys relay team also placed 1st. Also scoring were Aaron Soares, Tyler Antaya, Alex Lastra, Chris Sharp, Josh Travers, and Isaac Moniz. | | | 2/18/2012 | State and All-State Meets - Matt Moussamih and Tevin Cintron both represented Diman at the Division 3 State Meet last weekend in Boston. Tevin competed with the state's best in the two-mile, finishing his run in 10:23. He was the number 11 underclassman in Division 3. Matt finished 3rd overall in Division 3, won his heat, and ran the 600-meter run in 1:25.13. Matt also moved on to yesterday's All-State meet and represented Diman well, competing against the very best of the state, finishing a respectable 13th and running a career-best time.
| | | 2/4/2012 | Freshman/Sophomore Meet - The indoor track team proved they can run with the biggest and best teams in the state at Saturday's Freshman/Sophomore Meet. Among the standouts for the Bengals were Robert Theberge, who placed 4th overall in the one-mile run. Matt Tillson and Corey Toupin rand strong races to finish 2nd and 3rd in the 600M. Chris Lotz placed 3rd overall in the 1000 meters and the boys relay team came in 4th out of 12 teams, just beating out Framingham at the line on Chris Lotz' head-first dive across the line. Special should out to senior Tyler Costa, who was left out of last week's track announcement. Good job, Bengals! | | | 2/2/2012 | Bourne over Diman, Diman over Case - The boys split their meet, beating Case and losing to Bourne. Tevin Cintron ran a blistering 2-mile, finishing in 10:06. He also won the one mile. Matt Moussemeh won the 600M and anchored the winning relay team. Chris Lotz, Ted Makuch, Jon Freitas, Nate Levesque, and Matt Tilson scored in the meet as well. Running well for the final time as members of the Diman indoor track program were Chris "Pizza Man" Paiva, who ran a superb personal best time; Tyler Curry; Jon Freitas; and Corey Fernandes , who also placed 2nd in the high jump. Ryan Desrosiers ran a fast 55 meters in 6.9 seconds to end his indoor career in great fashion. Special shout out to Josh "The Freshman" Travers, who ran a personal best time.

Matt Moussemeh and Tevin Cintron captured first in the 600 and 1 mile respectively. Chris Lotz won the 1000 meters. Cory Fernandes took first in the high jump and Ryan Desrosiers took 2nd in the 50-yard dash. Nathan Levesque and Alex Medeiros both had season-best shot put throws. Also running well were Aaron Soares, Rob Theberge, John Da, and Steve Costa. The highlight of the night was the "short put throwers - weight man relay," which defied the laws of mass and speed. | | | 1/18/2012 | Diman vs New Bedford Voke - The boys and girls indoor track team had several outstanding performances in their meet against New Bedford Voke. Tevin Cintron ran a league-best one mile in the state-qualifying time of 4:47. He also won the two miles. Matt Moussameh fought off a challenge in the 600 to win the event. Jon Freitas came in third in the 300 and Cory Fernandes came in 3rd in high jump. Nate Levesque came in third in the shot put with a personal best throw of over 36 feet. The Mighty Ted Makuch held off Kyle Furtado in a one-mile duel. Also, Matt Tilson, Corey Toupin, and Zach Amaral ran great races for the Bengals. | | | 1/12/2012 | Diman over Dighton-Rehoboth - The Diman boys' track team had some outstanding performances in their meet against Dighton-Rehoboth. Matt Moussemeh continued his assault on the record book by running a league-best time of 1:26 in the 600 meters. Tevin Cintron won the two mile and the mile in convincing fashion. Chris Lotz snuck across the finish line to claim the 1000. Running personal best teimds were Corey Toupin and Matt Tilson. Also performing well were Corey Fernandes, Jon Freitas, Ryan Desrosiers, and Chris "The Portuguese Man of War" Paiva. | | | 1/5/2012 | Diman over Fairhaven - The Diman boys' indoor track team defeated Fairhaven. Tevin Cintron led the charge, winning both the 2 mile and qualifying for the Division 3 State Meet in the process. Matt Moussameh cruised to victory in the 600 meter run. Ted Makuch won the 300, Nathan Levesque won the shot put, and Chris Lotz snuck in a victory in the 1000, edging his opponent at the line. Zach Amaral, Jon Freitas, Phil Michaud, Corey Toupin, and Matt Tilson also had outstanding performances.

The relay team of Matt Moussemeh, Ted Makuch, Aaron Soares, and Chris Lotz turned in a league-best time to win the event. Matt Moussemeh also qualified for the state meet with a time of 1:28 in the 600. Cory Fernandes placed 1st in the high jump and Nathan Levesque placed 2st in the shot. Rob Theberge had two 3rd place finishes. Great job.
